Second Chance Auction Animals Rescue – S.C.A.A.R

Organization Mission

We are a not for profit rescue organization thats sole purpose is to take in the abused/neglected/unwanted animals from various auction houses in South Western Ontario.

We do take owner surrenders as well when we have the foster homes to do so.

Organization History

Second Chance Auction Animal Rescue (S.C.A.A.R) was founded in January 2013 to help save the animals from various animal auctions within South-Western Ontario as well as take in puppy mill dogs, kennel and owner surrenders and strays.

The idea was brought together by a 12 week old shepherd cross puppy named Roxcie (pictured above left).

Her story originally posted on Facebook touched many and brought together co-founders Valerie Callcott of London, Ontario and Jennifer Wick of Morris-Turnberry, Ontario.

Additional Information

Our rescue is run strictly by donations, fundraisers and through volunteers. 100% of the money we raise goes directly into care of these animals.
