The Kitchener Waterloo German Shepherd Club is hosting a Behavioural Modification Workshop on Saturday, May 31, 2014 with accomplished trainer, sport competitor and decoy Lique de Roode.
Topics covered in the seminar: – Stress & aggression in dogs – What is aggression? – What is stress? What does it look like? Symptoms? – Recognizing aggression – How aggression develops? – Stress releasing factors – Dealing with aggression – Restoring Confidence – Recognizing handler capabilities.
The location of this event is being held at Masters ‘N Hounds, as they have generously donated their facility for the clubs use of this event. Address is 2517 Fischer Hallman Road, Ayr, ON ON N0B 1E0, just outside Kitchener.
There are only 10 working spots available. First come, first serve with existing club members first consideration. $15.00 per dog/handler team (club members), $20.00 per dog/handler team (non-club members), $5.00 per person Spectator/Auditor (NO DOGS). Lunch will be available for purchase (BBQ).

Lique of Strikeforce K9 has trained dogs for police, security, and sport (KNPV, Schutzhund, PSA, etc.) with many years experience working with the Humane Society as a Animal Cruelty Inspector and as a Animal Care Technician in a vet clinic. Lique is also involved in scent detection in Canada and is also the President of the very first PSA club in Canada.
